Think a lot is if people are searching via Google for certain topics and a Mumsnet thread comes up and they just don't clock the date.

I think someone else on the Night Watch thread had it right. Sometimes trolls find them and post, so that if you look at their posting history, it seems that they’ve posted on a variety of ‘benign’ topics.
