Advent calenders for my parents in their 70s?

So thanks to a mumsnet thread I have just bought myself a Holland and Barrett advent calendar. I'm new to "naice" advent calendars, and am considering getting one each for my parents, who are in their 70s. Any suggestions or recommendations?

General points;

Neither of them really drink, so unless it's like 1 maybe 2 miniatures, that's booze out.

Chocolate is a winner (but I was hoping for something fancier than cadburys)

Mentally I've got around £30 as an okay price to spend on each.

Mum likes knitting and craft.

Dad... is a typical male in his 70s who is difficult to buy for Hmm

Both like cheese, foodie stuff (mum is veggie), are both fairly low tech, like books...

Any ideas?

Hotel Chocolat do a lovely 2 person advent which might be a good one if chocolate is a winner 😊

Whittard also do lovely tea and hot chocolate ones 😊
