@NeedToKnow101 Me too! I browse Palma flats every day...such a beautiful city

pastandpresent · 03/10/2020 19:50

Anywhere near the ocean.

katy1213 · 03/10/2020 19:52

Could I have @speakout's house transported to Zone 1 London? Maybe JK Rowling could help!

Taytocrisps · 03/10/2020 19:52

Kinsale in Cork - such an incredibly beautiful place.

HappyDinosaur · 03/10/2020 19:54

Forest of Dean or my own tiny island.

Chicchicchicchiclana · 03/10/2020 19:55

Bloomsbury, Fitzrovia or Pimlico in central London.

Taytocrisps · 03/10/2020 20:02

Oh sorry OP. I've just realized that you're looking to move - the ROI is probably a bit far for you Smile.

Chociefish · 03/10/2020 20:04

Somewhere in rural South West or my own little island.

LilyLongJohn · 03/10/2020 20:06

The Cairngorms in Scotland

Floods123 · 03/10/2020 20:06

To all those that say they want to do it then DO IT! If you really want too you will. I moved from Hertfordshire to Cornwall 14 years ago, although have now shifted slightly over the border to Devon. Best thing I ever did. Have a great life. Don't worry about seeing family as I guarantee you will in the season who will love having you there for cheap accommodation for holidays. The advice I give is love it and embrace it but DO NOT look for a job! You should to look for Income from several sources to do well here. A job will just be part of t :) at.

I moved to Canada 2 years ago which had always been my dream. I'm in Calgary and I love it, but medium term the dream is to move about an hour west to Canmore, in the Rockies on the doorstep of Banff National Park. It's a beautiful, vibrant, stunningly located little town - much more liveable and not nearly as crowded and touristy as Banff which is only 20 minutes further west.

PineappleUpsideDownCake · 03/10/2020 20:09

I want ro live with Speakout!

amieejust · 03/10/2020 20:10

West or North coasts of Scotland.

London.

Sussex coast.

Northumberland, North Yorkshire, Tyne & Wear.

VetOnCall · 03/10/2020 20:10

Sorry, that's probably not too realistic if you're looking to move in the UK! I lived in Devon for a few years before I emigrated and I adored it so I would absolutely move there again if I was back in the UK.

Anniecott · 03/10/2020 20:10

The Isle of Wight, I will get there one day but now is just not the right time, my asd son who is 17 is finally settled and doing well in education, has a lovely girlfriend and social life, I'm not taking him away from that, my time will come. X

LongPauseNoAnswer · 03/10/2020 20:13

Somewhere along the Côte d’Azur. Anywhere from Montpellier to Toulon. Not too touristy and some beautiful beaches. That and the lack of winter sell it for me.

BearSoFair · 03/10/2020 20:34

Copenhagen. Or possibly Stockholm.

MinnieJackson · 04/10/2020 11:44

Alaska or Cornwall

EmmaGrundyForPM · 04/10/2020 11:46

@Nomnomarrgh

Cambridge. Its too expensive and the people are grumpy, but its flat and they have cows.
we're not all grumpy, I promise!
deeahgwitch · 18/04/2026 15:42

Cannes - the weather is lovely, it has a beach and good shops plus access to Nice, Monaco and Italy.
I’d love a second home in Florida but not at this particular point in time.
Or near Marbella / Puerto Banus
Somewhere to go for a bit of sun.

AutumnLover1990 · 18/04/2026 15:49

The Cotswolds, Ascot or New York city.

Papyrophile · 18/04/2026 17:24

Another vote for the South of France. Maybe Uzes, or perhaps Marseillan on the Etang de Thau.
