God no, I don't think anyone would post if the anonymity was that slack. I'd pay to make sure people wouldn't know any of that kind of stuff about me

Back in the old days many more posters had fairly detailed profiles including photo of their kids. But this forum is way too big for many people to feel comfortable being so open.

I have premium and am very happy with it. I get virtually no ads, which makes it run much faster, and means I don't get wound up by them! I've also noticed a new feature, not sure if it is only for premium or not, where there is a 'see all' button on the OPs posts, so you filter and only see those posts, which is great for getting updates - do other people have that?

As a premium user you also have the facility to filter posts on the thread by all posters, not just the OP

I don't have the ability to filter by all users! That would be awesome, I'll need to pick that up with MNHQ if that should be included with premium

The 3 dots has a see all option on the other posters posts but it doesn’t do anything!

Wouldn't having info on the person giving us advice spoil the fun of imagining what they are like?

I'm thinking maybe MN isn't for you if you don't like the anonymity that comes with the forum.
