FIrst time round I was super relaxed about weaning. Second time round, I read all the Science of Mom stuff and was all about the meat and fortified cereals... Also, vitamin D and fish oil daily.

I am much much tougher about accumulating toy clutter and rubbish this time. Wish I had been stricter with my eldest. The relatives mostly give consumables now.

Regular dentist checks from a really early age. My eldest has never had any problems, but I am not taking any chances with this one.

My PFB I faffed making puries that he never ate and weaned by the book with baby rice(dust)and Hipp organic Confused

PSB wouldn't touch puries, so was BLW. And that's what I'd do again.
PSB was in cloth nappies and had a change table - better for my back.

I'm also more wary of the stuff he gets bought, cuddly toys to clothes.

I was cautious about any non-fruit veg ingedients before 6m and introducing new foods. Pretty understandable after DS1's face was visibly swelling and had little discernable favial features left by the time I ran a screaming, half-dressed baby into the GP's surgery in blind panic (it was the dairy content of the baby porridge what dunnit) Grin
