I’m going to make a pavlova (if DS ever naps 🙄). What can I do with the leftover egg yolks so they aren’t wasted?

Spaghetti carbonara - traditionally made with egg yolks and no cream 😋

UkSky · 29/09/2020 13:18

Make lemon curd

UkSky · 29/09/2020 13:18

Or a quiche

Snoodleberry · 29/09/2020 13:19

Creme brûlée!

UkSky · 29/09/2020 13:20

Custard.
Omelette

nettytree · 29/09/2020 13:20

Zabaglione.

Judashascomeintosomemoney · 29/09/2020 13:20

Custard
Mayonnaise

Custard

WhatWouldJKRDo · 29/09/2020 13:21

Ice cream! Or egg custard, lush with a grating of nutmeg.

Lemon/lime/orange curd
Mayonnaise
Hollandaise sauce and have Eggs Benedict/Florentine/Royale for lunch

Throw them at Gary Lineker. The most irritating tit on TV.

VanGoghsDog · 29/09/2020 13:25

Melting moments.

PinkJellycat · 29/09/2020 13:26

Came on to say spaghetti carbonara too - so easy and delicious

Lovelydovey · 29/09/2020 13:26

Ice cream!

BarbaraofSeville · 29/09/2020 13:26

I'd do custard or lemon curd.

I made chocolate fondants not so long ago and they needed 2 more yolks than whites.

Or if you haven't got eggs to use up and have a conveniently located shop, you can buy egg whites in cartons to absolve you of this dilemma.

Crème patisserie - which can be frozen to use later.
