Butter? Marmite? Peanut butter? Something else ?

Butter and jam. Or peanut butter and jam.

Ducking love a crumpet. Marmite vs butter never causes me anything but stress.

I’m going to say butter if you’ve got it to hand or marmite if only Marge.

It’s against the law to put anything other than proper butter on a crumpet

Butter and cheddar. Marmite too if you love it.

My aunt used to top with cheese and put under the grill, but imo nothing beats loads of butter on crumpets!

Butter and a bit of cherry preserves if you have them. Strawberry jam is good too.

Just lots of butter, and a cup of strong tea to have with it! Mmmmmm

Slightly charred and lots of butter, maybe a smidge of marmite.
