Over the course of the last few weeks dry itchy patches have appeared all over my body...

Moisturiser, Canestan and Steroid creams have failed to clear them...

That looks like infected impetigo. Get thee to a doctor who can give you the antibiotics you need.

Thank you.... I will call tomorrow and at least I have photos...!!!

There are a few possibilities, all requiring a GP asap! Should be treatable especially if you deal with it earlier rather than later.

Possibly ringworm? I wouldn't put steroid cream on them but would ask for an online consultation with your GP.

ASAP sounds scary....!!!!!!

Did it start with one patch that was clearly oval shaped? Could be pityriasis rosea?

BathshebaKnickerStickers · 28/09/2020 19:36

There was an oval patch on my side....

Could be granuloma annulare. I have it and it appeared out of nowhere. No treatment that works unfortunately.

AuditAngel · 28/09/2020 20:47

Doesn’t look like psoriasis to me, although mine does start with rashy patches

WorkingItOutAsIGo · 28/09/2020 23:16

Great set of diagnoses - definitely glad you are contacting your doctor! Good luck!
