I know I shouldn't care, but Kickers were so popular when I was at school that I worry people will think I'm trying to recapture my youth! And that I'm a bit tragic as a result!

I remember the Kickers trend as a teenager in the mid to late 90s and I think it is a trend that is worth bringing back. Nostalgia rocks! I say go for it

My parents would never spend excess money just on a name. I was not allowed kickers. I had a pair of Pods.

Just bought a very similar pair today and I bloody love them, I'm 44 and decided I'm buying what I like.
Look around at fashion today it's never been so 'anything goes' , but them and wear with pride!

I did say to dd16 today though in the shops it's like looking in my youths wardrobe, I've just bought cords as they were my favorite things as a kid! I'm so happy with them 😊

Wear what you can, while you can! & 40 is still a baby!

Sadly at 51 I'm having knee & hip problems and there's no way I could cope with the laces on these., but I'm looking at the zip up boots now!

These have a zip as well. I check specifically for that feature on all similar boots.

If you like them wear them.

Definitely not too old! Wear whatever you feel comfortable in. I'm 55 and in winter live in skinny jeans, boots or Stan Smiths and hoodie tops like my teenage daughter. Were it not for the price I'd be very tempted by the Kickers!
