Settle an argument about toast!!

What way do you put the bread in the toaster? Straight down (so longest side is on the side) or on its side (so longest side is on the bottom) ??

I bought a long toaster especially for sideways toasting.

I honestly thought only a couple of people would be doing this side toasting!

Sideways.

I cut the slice of bread in half before putting it in the toaster.
So neither way really 😳

Definitely on its side, to make sure it's all toasted.

On its side otherwise the top doesn't get toasted.
