Great gifts for people who are struggling

My friend has lost her job and is really struggling with the overcrowded job market, few roles available and low self esteem.

I’d like to send her something to put a smile on her face, but not the usual flowers/chocs/smellies.

Have you got any original/ quirky ideas? Budget probably £25 or less. Any ideas gratefully accepted!

A really lovely notebook, a pen which writes nicely, a book by her favourite author, a pack of posh tea? Or all four if they're sensibly priced?! (Ok those are all things I'd love 😂)

A basket of essentials might go down well. I know it is boring but a care package with some food, toiletries and household things could really help her.

A hand drum with links to videos to teach herself how to play could be fun!

I really liked the idea of a reposed box which some people have mentioned on here, contents can vary but always include a book and a few gifts, sometimes stationary, hot drink, a beauty product etc. No idea what's in September's box but can have a google.

I know it is a bit frowned upon on here, but I would like a candle. A posh one.
If she is struggling to put food on the table, a card/voucher for her usual supermarket.

Thanks everyone!

Also just a nice card with something thoughtful and positive written inside from you. I’ve been going through a really tough time lately (had to go NC with my family and unfortunately don’t plan to have them in my life again, it’s been really awful). A friend send flowers and a card. The flowers were fine, but actually it’s what she said in the card that I really needed.
