I've retreated to bed with an ear infection and pounding headache so feeling sorry for myself

What's everyone up to tonight? What did you have nice for dinner? Anything good on TV?

DH is at a wedding 70 miles away so I've watched hocus pocus and stardust with the DC and made cheeseboard and nibblers for our dinner. They've just gone up so I'm gonna look get some cleaning up done.

Chilling after a busy week. Dd doing homework, ds asleep. Just watched the first programme in the new Whipsnade Zoo series.

Feels very autumnal!

@catsareme14 it's all so very odd. Lots of folk here on MN to talk to if you need us. My family are far away too and I try not to think about when I'll next see them.

I've spent the day, into evening watching films, and doing bits and bobs in the house in between.
None of the films were worth recommending, I just chose them at random.

I am planning decorations for a covid safe halloween woodland walk.

Later will be writing a tiny letter from the tooth fairy detailing her latest adventures.

Enjoying being warm after we had our heating fixed yesterday.

Watched a Black Mirror episode we'd not seen before with a glass or two of wine, now we're in bed and there's NO reason to wake up in the morning!!

Sorry you're not feeling well :(. I've had a really long day shopping so had a nice chicken and bacon salad for dinner and watched a series with my DP - now we're having 'me time' which involves him playing horrible shooty games on his PC, with me having a shower and then watching some tele. He'll be down any minute for us to watch a film with a brew and a chocolate muffin.

I lead a very simple life, but I like it!

Hope you feel better soon OP. DH is out and I've had a friend of DD's over for a sleepover. They've only just gone to sleep so I'm sitting in absolute quiet with the dog and enjoying the peace after a manic week at work.

We went to the pub 8-10 with another couple, it was actually really nice having table service and not being able to drink to much so home nice and early and everyone was being really good with wearing masks to go to the loo etc

Ouch sounds painful, had mastoiditis last year! do not envy you.
After lo went to bed, 3 episodes Ratched - Netflix and 3 glasses wine!

Had a manic day at work (from home!). Home alone tonight, made myself a fish finger sandwich. Watched TOTP 1981. Forgot what a good year that was! Had a bath and might watch Extra Slice now while waiting for DH to get home. Unusually for me on a Friday night, not had any alcohol!

Coached netball from 4 until 7 for our local girl's teams including both dds. Southern Fried Chicken, chips, brocoli and corn on the cob for dinner (cheat dinner on Fridays). Had two gin and tonics whilst we watched GBBO as a family in front of the fire. Dc went up to bed and DH and I watched the first episode of the Bridge. I'm not very good at TV so feel I've done well tonight (DH gets cross as I never sit and watch anything with him).

Just got back from an amazing date

Just went for a walk to find local park, stupidly without taking my specs. Luckily my park finding antennae were on so I located it behind a pharmacy and had a brief squint, I'll explore it tomorrow.

Need to make a phone call then I'll finish my coke and read the news.

Luna it was called #Alive. I'll have to try Train to Busan. Tonight's film wasn't terrible.

Just got back from an amazing date

Omg details. I cancelled a date because I'm a knobhead but I need good news

Went to the gym, came home and had a couple of glasses of wine then DH rogered me stupid.

Now doing a jigsaw in front of the fire.

Watched Harry Potter half blood prince with a big kebab!
Now sat in bed wide awake knowing full well I'll be up again as soon as I fall asleep to do a night feed

Had too many wines watching old music videos on YouTube. Feeling really good I have a weekend of freedom as teaching seems like Russian roulette at the moment and apparently 1/5 people are in local lockdown.

@phillycheesesteak we went out for a meal and ended up speaking for 3 and half hours 😊 it was our second date and all is going really well so far
