Still waiting for a refund from Ryan Air?

Has anyone had any Joy escalating this to a regulator? I’m still waiting for a refund for flights that were cancelled in April and June.

I’d like to give Ryan Air one more chance (but also threaten to escalate it to a regulator) and if they don’t give me a refund, make a formal complaint to the regulator.

I’d have to be desperate to book a flight with Ryan Air again. I got a refund from Easy Jet in 4 weeks, so I don’t know what Ryan Aur are playing at.

Sigh. Live chat request for refund. They emailed vouchers again this morning.

I’ll start on the resolver website tomorrow.

It’s this behaviour that is part of the reason the airline industry is in the state it’s in.

We booked flights (pre Covid) partly because we thought we had some consumer protection, should something go wrong.

The fact that Ryan Air think they are above the law is what’s stopping us booking flights for next year.

If Ryan Air get away with this behaviour, what’s to stop other airlines trying it if flights are cancelled (for any reason, in the future)?

We're still waiting for refunds from June, but I did get a much smaller refund for an April flight. I've had vouchers three times.

I contacted RyanAir again last weekend and they confirmed that they had sent the refund to Love Holidays over a month ago and gave me a reference number. I contacted Love Holidays who say they haven’t received anything 🙄 I’m not sure who to believe. I’ve submitted an actual charge back with my bank now so hopefully should get the money one way or another soon. What a bloody farce!
