Christmas time in London: too risky to book?

We don't celebrate christmas as such and usually go away, we are due to go to Marrakesh which I am 99.9% sure will be cancelled so I want to book something else. For obvious reasons the options are extremely limited but London is cheap. Is it too risky to book? We aren't looking for specific xmas activities to do so it doesn't bother me if they are cancelled, i'm more concerned about another lockdown type situation. Obviously no one has a crystal ball, but any thoughts welcome.

You could wait until nearer the time or book places that can be refunded or changed.I won't personally be booking anything though. We usually have a weekend city break in December but will make the best of it at home this year.
