Best slippers for living in an apartment

We are moving into an apartment with our kids and it would be great to hear all the noise reducing hacks, and silent slipper recommendation for wooden floors!

I wear thick but loose walking sock type things if I’m alone and just mooching. They do a good job of dusting the floor as I go they can be a bit slippy until worn in.

White company ones have soft soles

Get a carpet rather than hard floors. Then it doesn't matter what slippers you wear.

Thanks. There are hardwood floors already but we will do rugs for sure. Looking for some sort of magic slipper though!

Slipper socks with the sticky pads on the bottom. But rugs help more

I wear birks at home and I have a pair for indoor use only. I can't wear slippers because my feet need more support and get really sore otherwise. I wear them with socks in the winter for warmth. Very alluring!
