Ring doorbell on side of house?

I've had my eye on one of these for ages but our front door is on the side of the house and we have a narrow pathway leading to the front door. Has anyone got one with a similar arrangement? I'm not sure how much it would see.

If you just want to be able to see who is at your door before answering it then get it.
If you want you monitor anyone venturing on to your property with no good reason then get CCTV

No it's just for anyone coming to the door, deliveries etc.

You can adjust the coverage. Our door is 'on the side' so I mounted it at a slight angle towards the gates.
Very good image quality and you always know when someone is approaching your door.
