I got a job!

Just that really. I lost my job because of covid and today I got a call saying I have a new one. Its only a picker/packer warehouse one and it's only until Christmas but the relief! I don't have anybody to share with so thought I'd bore you lovely lot.

Oh darling so sorry to hear about your DD.

Make sure you come back and tell how the first day went!! Boring inductions and health and safety talks probably 🙄

Thank you all, I will absolutely come and update. Ohhh health & safety. I was smiling earlier. My old job was at a chippy and she would sometimes come in on a quiet shift and eat her own bodyweight in chips, she would be very disappointed at the lack of food... Its hard but if I don't keep going I'll break. Really appreciate everyone's posts x

I start Monday at 10 then after that it's 8-8 every day. Again, many thanks to you all, its been a really rough time and this has given me a bit of confidence x

Hi everybody, just on a break. It's been good so far, mostly health and safety and finding out where everything is but the people all seem nice. I'm glad I started c25k with all the running round the warehouse! And I've bumped into an old friend who just reminded me it's my birthday this week and asked if I would like to do something at weekend, she's a single person household aswell so that'll be nice. Thanks for your wishes and thoughts everybody x
