Is there a way to remove highlighting from titles of threads I've read ?

I'm on a lap top .If I've opened a thread it remains permanently highlighted . Can I reverse this ?

Try deleting your cookies and your Internet browser cached history.

Agree with Pint . This is a web thing not a MN thing.
They'll reset with a laptop clean up (e.g. CCleaner)

If you look in your browser setting it is conceivable you can turn it off somehow, though that would be for the whole of the internet.
