What's the deal with weddings and funerals?

Under the new "rule of 6" guidance that is? I understand that weddings and funerals are exempt, but what about receptions and wakes?

I'm asking as I have a funeral to attend on Monday and I can find no info at all on this.

The maximum of 30 in a Covid secure way still applies. As announced by Mr Johnson a short while ago.

I didn't hear him mention wakes specifically, just weddings and funerals.
