Also,
The sounds my baby makes with his mouth when he wakes in the morning, like little blowing air noises.
My toddler saying 'I love you'

Leaves that crunch under foot.
Tea pouring
As someone above said pop glug glug glug
My mind has gone blank now but I'm sure there's so many more

ImaSababa · 08/09/2020 22:52

Solo violin playing something mournful.
Baby DD's hedgehog snuffling.

notso · 08/09/2020 23:25

Logs crackling on the fire
The sea,
trains in the distance,
All the little noises that my babies made particularly the contented sounds when they got their milk/dummy/comforter,
Guinea pigs wheeking,
School children singing in assemblies etc,
A piano,
Ice cubes when they creak and crack in a fizzy drink,
rain on the conservatory roof,
the sound of a cigarette burning although I haven't heard it for years,

I love the sound made when you’re the first person to step on fresh snow ❄️

Also my cat purring.... I have made sound recordings of this 💓

Shannith · 09/09/2020 00:02

My horse whickering. I'd like to think she likes me but it's because I normally have carrots.

Beekeeper1 · 09/09/2020 00:05

The sound of my heart beating when I wake each morning - it reassures me that I am still alive!

The gentle rhythmic beat of the pendulum on my longcase clock, still going strong and keeping perfect time at 230 years old.

The contented noises my chickens make and a happy hum from my bees.

And, as others have said, a raging good thunderstorm

Rain on outhouse roof (when cosy inside)
Birdsong
A variety of different music
Wind blowing a gale again when I’m inside

everythingbackbutyou · 09/09/2020 01:47

At the moment, Lindsey Buckingham's voice

Downunderduchess · 09/09/2020 04:02

Love hearing a magpie warbling.

HeronLanyon · 09/09/2020 04:46

Now looking up Magpie song - not 100% sure I’d know it - I do know their kind of chatter/grumbling/muttering sound they sometimes make in my roof ! Never thought of them as having a song or even a warble !

HeronLanyon · 09/09/2020 04:49

Ha ha ! Just listened. If I were being a little unkind I might say ‘the Ethel Merman of the bird world’. I too love that sound and Ethel - what a trouper !

RubaiyatOfAnyone · 09/09/2020 04:56

Little children singing “Away in a Manger” at Christmas time.
Fire crackling in the hearth.
The general background noise of being outside - bees buzzing, grasshoppers chirping, birds singing, wind rustling.
Distant windchimes (too loud close up).
Rivers and streams.
My 5yo dd shouting “Mummy!” like seeing me is the most exciting thing in the world.
Pouring dry rice into a pan.
Wood being chopped.
Robins and blackbirds singing.
The silence once the dc are in bed.

lilfoxfur · 09/09/2020 06:18

My ds laughing

The sound wine makes pouring into a glass

MinnieJackson · 09/09/2020 09:49

Definitely rain
And the chopping noises they put in on Masterchef
