We are just in the process of demolishing our bathroom. Was all in when we bought it and all with grey tiles and white units.

I hated it, grey is depressing and cold. Even with two decent size windows and good spotlights the room was never inviting.

We opted for pale sand coloured tiles with blue mosaic accents and white units.

Grey seems to be fashionable but unless you add some contrast it is just dull.

White marble effect tiles seem to be in and I think will probably last as a look.

Quite classic as come in metro style, hexagons or big slabs.

Look at Porcelain Warehouse Instagram for inspiration, they’re very on trend.

Sorry Porcelain Superstore.

It depends on the setting really but you can't go wrong with metro tiles

Our bathroom is being blitzed in a few weeks and we are just sorting the tiles.

We are going for 300x600 Manhattan Grey tiles. Not too grey that the room will be dark or look like a sodding great slab of concrete.

We've got white at the moment and it looks like an operating theatre.

We thought about marble effect tiles, but I've never really liked them.

Don’t base your decision solely on Instagram images. Is the rest of your house decorated in grey? Also metro tiles involve a lot of grout to keep clean. Choose what you like. I have large limestone effect tiles in my bathroom.

We went for white metro tiles with grey grouting. Really pleased with the look!
