Is there anything you have done during lockdown that you will miss once your dc are back at school.

Mine will be a daily walk every day before lunch. Even when my youngest went back to preschool me and dd still walked every day the same route before lunch. We started when we was only allowed out for exercise and we will do it until they return on Thursday.

Obviously I can still do the walk but it won't be the same without dd and her endless talking. We might do it in the evening some days instead.

It's made me quite upset really.

Is there anything you have been doing with the dc that you will miss once they're back at school?

Lie-ins! Ds has finally discovered how nice it is to lie in rather than jump up at the dot of 7am as he's done for 13 years.

Ah yes of course lie-ins !

Does “not gone to swimming lessons” count?

Kids in Scotland went back 2 weeks ago and I am really missing out big walks with the dogs every day and our after lunch garden time where rain or shine we would go out and swing, bounce, play with sand, ride bikes etc. It was always so much fun and really good quality time. Now we are doing it at the weekends only so still good but miss it every day.
