Oh, I sympathise. We have roof problems too and its so hideously expensive to fix! No answers, but sympathy.

We've had a drip for a year. Roofer went up to deal with what looked like minor repairs and discovered that it needs re-roofing due to being skimped by two rows of tiles when the extension was added, so they don't over lap enough, and the liner that was keeping the house dry is wearing out. It was too soggy/ stormy to strip down and do Oct- March, then lockdown, and with both of us stuck in the majority of the time with little escape, we just can't face building works and DIY at the moment.

Had new flat roof last year, that's leaking in utility. Not obvious where the leak is coming from but they should fix that i think.
New one which I think is the wood fascia ageing. Others are the chimney stacks in the my sons loft bedroom, damp and flaking and paper coming off, which have all been looked at, but still leaking

Our flat roof's a pain in the arse. We had a new roof 5 year ago after the old one leaked, but because we live in a terrace, a leak can actually travel from next door. Roofer came back (twice) to try and fix one leak, but I'm always on the lookout for signs of another. Getting a whiff of damp in a certain spot at the moment so I've got to tell the tightwad next door he needs a new roof. So we'll potentially have to shell out for another new roof a lot earlier than we expected.Angry

We are having roof works on our estate at the moment. Its the works that have caused my neighbours leaks.

We are in Week Eleven. They have been using the roof above our bedroom as a walkway for weeks. So ive heard a lot of stomping as well as the expected noises from the hammers and angle grinders etc. So still not complete.
