I can have Libre Office and my printer installed on mine, or Libre & one other program (dd2 had put Roblox on it because it stays downstairs so I could keep an eye).

Atm, it has Libre & Roblox. It says it doesn't have enough space for my printer. Which I need to use

Someone please tell me what I need to look for -or just what laptop to buy for £200 - £300 ish. It's doing my head in.

(Pic attached of the sticker on this one in case someone can tell me where I went wrong with it).

Someone tell me which laptop to buy please!!

You wont get a good laptop to use roblox without crashing or freezing at that budget. Your best bet is a refurbished one, minimum 8gb RAM, ideally at least i5 processor or higher.

Aspire was just 4g memory thats really not enough thesedays unless you literally just use it for typing. The processor is very old.
You get what you pay for with laptops, i think on a small budget you coupd go for google laptops ... but i really rate Dell and HP.

You went wrong because the hard drive capacity is tiny on that model (just 32gb) - Windows 10 operating system will take 20gb of that. It's more of a web-browsing computer plus storage for documents/photos, etc., than a computer where you can load lots of programs onto it.

Realstically, you need a computer with 256gb hard drive if you're wanting to install programs onto it.

For a limited budget of £200-£300, I'd suggest you get a certified reconditioned Lenovo from Amazon. Something like a Lenovo X230 (I have a few for my office bought reconditioned). They're very solid and dependable.

This one runs it without freezing; the other one we have is an HP but that's really slow & it doesn't work well on there.

How much would I be looking at? (I half daren't google Grin )

@Badbadbunny thanks, I'll have a look on Amazon.

I didn't think about the kids using it when I bought it - it was mainly for me to use at that point in time. & clearly I have no concept of the amount of space is on something like a laprop Confused
