Hi, does anyone know if this is a good activity to do in the rain? The weather looks dreadful tomorrow near where we are staying and we are scratching around for things to do!

Haven’t been for a decade but I don’t recall there being much shelter. Monkey World?

Heavy horse centre are really needing visitors. Where are you staying?

Marmosetmarmalade · 24/08/2020 19:45

Thank you both. I thought there may not be too much shelter! I like the idea of Monkey World but we are off to Longleat on Thursday so perhaps a bit too much of the same thing!

We are staying in a place called Farnham. It’s lovely but with the rain it’s perhaps a bit harder to occupy time with two small children (5 & 3).

Tank Museum might be good for them as inside. You are in a lovely part of Dorset. Another thought is something like the dinosaur museum in Dorchester. Enjoy your time here :-)

It is beautiful here definitely. Very laid back and chilled out! Thank you for your suggestions, will check them out.
