Where are some good places to get paint/wallpaper/furniture/accessories like rugs lampshades etc from?

I havent got a huge budget but still want some nice bits.

Save searches in eBay with collection location set within a certain radius, FB marketplace same. Wilko paint is supposed to be good. B&Q paint was problematic a few years ago- dies it still dry smelling of piss? They may have fixed that by now. Home sense for rugs, frames, mirrors and decor items/accessories if you can visualise an entire room at once. IKEA is dangerous! Use the app to make a strict list before you go and put yourself in overdraft with all the bright ideas! Carry a graph paper notebook with the dimensions noted so you can make sure everything fits. Sketch a wall plane showing how the furniture heights complement each other (and how big/high/deep the windows & rads are. Don't forget details like the depth of skirting boards can change how something "sits" against the wall, think about how you will use your outlets and get good, safe extension leads. Have fun!

The range i find is good, large supermarkets can be excellent especially if they have a sale

H&m and Zara both have nice home ranges. Matalan is worth a look, and Asda have good dupes for more expensive versions of things.
Ikea is always worth a look.
Do you have a home sense nearby? They are the interiors branch of tkmax.

Ah I'd never heard of Home Sense, just googling it I have one near by.
The graph paper idea sounds like something I should do because I'm looking to completely redecorate and never even thought about how the skirting boards will be!

What’s your style? Different brands specialise in different stuff.

John Lewis have some nice stuff in their Home range, I got the best bedside light I've ever had for £10.
