I haven’t backed up my Mac for a couple of years...last time I did I took all the videos off and put them on a separate hard drive to create space. If I back up again using that same hard drive will they be overwritten or will it just create a new folder for the next back up?? Just because it’s running quite hot and I’m a bit worried it’s on its last legs!!
Or is it better to just use time machine for the general back ups and use the external hard drive just for pics etc? All my recent pics are in the cloud now anyway (and with that, do I just keep expanding the storage until the end of time??)
