Help me find some comfy boys’ school trousers please!

DS(9) has some sensory issues and won’t wear school uniform trousers as they have no stretch in them and he finds them too uncomfortable/restrictive.

I’ve googled extensively but can’t find anything. School might be ok with him wearing black joggers but I don’t want him to look too different to everyone else.

Has anyone found anything that might be suitable? Can be black or grey.

A lot of skinny leg school trousers have stretch in them. Ds found slim leg a bit restrictive but skinny leg more comfortable as they were in a stretch fabric

Have you tried the adaptive range at m&s?

Are you washing them before he wears them? A lot of school trousers have a stain resistant coating so they feel very slidey and stiff until you've washed them a good few times.

@SimonJT I’ve looked at them but they don’t seem to be stretchier fabric.

@LonnyVonnyWilsonFrickett I can see that might help a little but if he still doesn’t like them I wouldn’t be able to return them
