Ovens, where to look what to buy?

I need the mn collective wisdom. The oven is the latest of our major appliances to die. I have never bought an oven before, where is best to buy from, and are things like self cleaning and steam baking worth it?

Not much to offer on 'what'. I always have had a standard electric fan oven but where, I'd say AO everytime. Excellent customer serbice, delivery etc. I ordered the wrong size. One phone call and the replacement was delivered the next day, the wrong one collected and the difference in cost put in my card that day.

Ao it is then. Some seem to have plugs and some are wired into the mains, is there any meaningful difference?
