Can anyone recommend a good recipe book? I would like to put my new gadget to good use, so far I've only really used it for chips, fish fingers etc!!!

KFC style chicken - chicken dipped in flour, egg & seasoned panko breadcrumbs (loads of recipes for the seasoning online). Brown off in frying pan for few minutes either side & air fry for 10 mins or so (depending on thickness of chicken)

Following as I have no clue what to do in mine! I tried chips and they didn't cook!

I’ve been doing kebabs in mine lately, marinated chicken skewered with veg. Easy supper with salad and flatbreads. I also do salmon fillets, also good with various marinades, curry paste, pesto, teriyaki or whatever.

Also makes excellent toasted sandwiches and baked potatoes.

How do you make a toasted sandwich?

Just like a normal toastie, stick a skewer through it so that the top doesn’t fly off and air fry. I don’t have a toasted sandwich maker and the air fryer is much better than the grill which doesn’t tend to melt the cheese properly. You can also use proper bread and you don’t have to squash it flat.
