Quick beach recommendations south of France please

Can anyone recommend a beach that isn’t overcrowded, preferably Narbonne to Perpignan area? There’s a surprising amount of tourists everywhere!

Mateille Beach is (or at least ‘was’ when we went a few years ago) quite unspoilt. To get to it from the port of Gruissan, take Avenue des Plages (you have to go to Mateille stadium), then go over the bridge of Mateille Lake. The car park is at the end of the road at the beginning of the beach. It’s just over a kilometre long but note that there is an area at the north end where naturism is tolerated.
