It's come sooner than I expected.

I'm only 37.

38 here.

Mine is Jack Nicholson.

I guess it comes to us all.

xTinkerhellx · 19/08/2020 19:19

Pfft.

I'm 33 and he's been my old man crush for years!

GameofChess · 19/08/2020 19:20

Yeah that is bad. You’re talking about him at his peak, obviously? He’s about 95 now I think.
Just keep thinking about the accent and the fact that he used to be a milkman, to turn off the, ahem, attraction. Or does that not help? The milkman thing I mean?

GameofChess · 19/08/2020 19:21

Gregory Peck. Wink now there’s a man.

MrsSpookyM · 19/08/2020 19:22

We're watching hunt for red october

Bumblebeebutt · 19/08/2020 19:23

Ha. I've fancies him since I was 16! Not so much now... I'm. 36 lol

MrsSpookyM · 19/08/2020 19:24

You know you're hitting middle age when you start fancying the old man villain/dad characters in films. Rather than the strapping young heroes.

any man who can dash about a film wearing a baby blue terry towelling short leg onesie and not be ridiculed world wide has to have sex appeal.

bellinisurge · 19/08/2020 19:29

Gregory Peck too!
James Stewart too

peakygal · 19/08/2020 19:33

Im 34 and have been crushing on him many years and Tom Jones, Rod Stewart and Sting 😂

happyisthebestcrocodile · 19/08/2020 20:32

Watching Friends the first time round I thought Tom Selleck was so old. Now I’m 35 I think he’s so much more handsome and mature than Chandler that it makes me mad that Monica didn’t choose him!

Graphista · 19/08/2020 20:44

"Just keep thinking about the accent and the fact that he used to be a milkman, to turn off the, ahem, attraction. Or does that not help? The milkman thing I mean?"

I'd have thought his comments on domestic violence would!

Mammyloveswine · 19/08/2020 21:03

33 and Clint Eastwood

FunTimes2020 · 19/08/2020 21:28

@MrsSpookyM

It's come sooner than I expected.

I'm only 37.

Oh wow, you fancy a pensioner! He's 90 next Tuesday, perhaps you could buy him a gift? Grin
Bluntness100 · 19/08/2020 21:30

Ooh I’ve always fancied him. And Tom selleck. With the moustache. Not so much without,,am fussy like that. Can’t believe Monica chose chandler. I mean you wouldn’t would you...🤣

Gatekeeper · 19/08/2020 21:32

He's known as Seen Canary in our house

elp30 · 19/08/2020 21:46

I used to watch Midsomer Murders and I had a crush on Jason Hughes back in the early 2000's when I was around 30. I just watched a rerun and thought that John Nettles is looking very good to me now that I'm 50.

To be fair, I have always thought Robert Lindsay, Nigel Havers and Bryan Ferry we're totally hot when I was in my 20's and they still all catch my attention now.

DramaAlpaca · 19/08/2020 21:48

I'm in my 50s and I still don't fancy Sean Connery. My 84 year old mum does, though Grin

Hepcat75 · 19/08/2020 21:53

God, I hope never to reach that age. Tax-dodging misogynist and one-note actor. Sexy.
Honor Blackman had the measure of him.

JustanotherTuesday · 19/08/2020 21:53

I realised I was getting old, when watching tennis matches on tv, I would be thinking some of the umpires or coaches looked nice instead of the fit young players who are young enough to be my sons Grin

majesticallyawkward · 19/08/2020 22:08

Ooo @Bluntness100 Tom Selleck, now there's a man. I've loved him since three men and a baby.

Also Tom Hanks, not so much when he was young but my goodness he's aged beautifully!

I've e always had a weird attraction to the older gentleman though, from the age of 13-17 William Petersen was up there for me. That was early CSI days.

Whyarewefruit · 19/08/2020 22:13

SeanConnery is a violent misogynist.

Patrick Stewart now, for example, is an extremely fine thing.

Graphista · 19/08/2020 22:13

Mention of 3 men and a baby reminds me of Steve Gutenberg I had a massive crush on him back in the day and then he just sort of disappeared

SauvignonExtraChilled · 19/08/2020 22:18

If you're wanting a jolt out of this OP, he did say very publicly that he didn't see anything wrong with giving a woman a slap....if they needed one.

You're welcome.

kingdomcapers · 19/08/2020 22:21

I stood behind him in a queue when I was still at school and his neck was all lines like crepe paper (& like my Grandad's) and that was 30 years ago. He must be about fossilised by now.
