Spa hotels that would be good for a mummy/daughter break (9yo)

DD would really like to have a spa weekend with me. i am not massively into spas so I don't really know anywhere but would ideally have a spa hotel with a pool we could go in together and lounge around in robes so she felt she had the experience, and then maybe get a head massage or something and our nails done. Basically nothing too old for a 9yo. Anyone recommend anywhere?

Where are you? Not tram hall in Cheshire good

Sounds like a lovely idea, but I think you might have more choice in a few years time. A lot of the spa hotels I have been to only allow older children in (12/14+) the others have a set period of one or two hours where kids can come and use the pool.

You need a hotel with spa facilities as she won't be allowed into a proper spa
You haven't said where in the country but something like this?

The grand in Eastbourne?

@Holdingtherope was that auto-corrected Mottram Hall, Cheshire? If so, it's a fabulous spa area.

Celtic Manor might fit the bill. It also has crazy golf, high ropes etc if she gets bored of lounging by the pool.

Our spa you have to be over 16 so I'd check before I booked anywhere

We are in London but prepared to travel. It would be for next spring probably
