Can anyone recommend anywhere to eat near Chessington World of adventure?

Taking DS down south next week to go to Chessington and Legoland. I’ve booked legoland hotel so we will eat there on site there but for chessington we are staying in a premier inn. A chain is fine and a maccies is fine if there’s on close by. Just looking for maybe a Nando’s/Bella Italia/pizza express kind of place nearby. If anyone can help ( and has any tips for Chessington and LegoLand!) it would be great fully recieved.

Thanks

The food served at Chessington in expensive and rubbish!
There is a garden centre next door which does decent food and a further five mins walk up the road is an M&S garage. There is also The Star pub about a mile and a half that does lovely food.
Hope you have a lovely time.

Thank you! I’m thinking of having breakfast at the premier inn then take a picnic for chessington although it’s a 3 hour drive and we’re coming down the day before so no where to keep sandwich’s cold. Although I could call tesco etc and get a meal deal before we go... I’ll have a look at the star pub now, thanks!

I second the Star pub. Good food and a nice beer garden for children.

The Star pub, 5 minutes down the road is lovely. Highly recommend.

Don’t forget to prebook your table. Especially if it’s on a help out to eat out day

Eat out to help out even

There is a beefeater right next to the premier inn. You will probably need to book though if you're planning on going when eat out to help out is on.

The garden centre also has a really nice restaurant/cafe. But probably not open for an evening meal

There are also a couple of pubs along the main road that leads down to the M25.

Otherwise look on the Google maps app and you can see what is nearby. It's really helpful as you can tap 'restaurants' and they will pop up. You can tap them and the opening hours/contact numbers/reviews are easy to see.

Thanks everyone. We’re staying at the ‘Chessington’ premier inn on the Sunday and Monday then legoland on the Tuesday. DS doesn’t know I’ve booked the Lego land hotel so he’ll be over the moon. I’ll have a look at the star at the beef eater. I am so, so excited!

I can recommend the Star pub too, I used to have a light lunch in there regularly before lockdown, but haven’t been back yet. There is also The Shy Horse, on the left before you get to The Star, which is also OK, one of the Vintage Inn chains, a little bit less expensive.
