Would you worry if your child had eaten this much chocolate?

Just got home, put 2 year old in front room to play (no hazards in there-just for the record) while I sorted our stuff out and got drinks ready. Was gone for 5-7 mins!! Came back into the front room and stupid old me had left a box of milk tray chocolates right within reach. She’s very quietly sat there and demolished about 2/3s of a tray.
I don’t know what I’m expecting to happen but I’m mortified

False alarm. Just found loads that had fallen out the box when I moved the curtain!! She’s only eaten about 3 thank god!

At worst she’d have had an upset tummy. It would have been fine. Probably quite messy, but not life threatening. Unless the child is diabetic or something but I assume you’d have mentioned if so!

I’d have been gutted to lose the chocolates though.

Nope, wouldn't worry. Even if she had eaten them all. Worst that would happen is she would throw up, which is a lesson that stays with you, even at that age, (knowing wink!).

I wouldn't have even been worried if the 2 year old had eaten 2/3 of a tray. A tray only contains about 18 chocolates so whilst more than you might normally give a 2 year old its hardly excessive. Unless the 2 year old was a dog I don't see why this would cause alarm?
