Argh - had an argument with DD’s DF purely because I misunderstood what he meant.

Blush So he was trying to help (🙄) after 9,5 years of helping very little with raising his own DD (he does pay and is not stingy just very little albeit regular contact). He had a change of heart after the lockdown (and after I said I can’t cope anymore -I had somewhat enjoyed the lockdown to start with but once the “holidays” started I’ve been struggling). Anyway, he offered more childcare. Only it sounded like he was rescinding on his previous offer (1 days instead if 2) so I’ve told him what a pathetic liar he is, etc. but it looks like he was saying he’d do the 2 days.
I’m Blush and Sad because I almost messed it up but telling him about himself when he was trying to help.
Not sure why I’m writing this, don’t feel I can mention to anyone in RL.

Oh and because we kept on misunderstanding what we said we thought texting would be better Hmm

Call him and clear the air? I find texting can be misunderstood sometimes.
