Any ideas on how I can get an on-line order when the supplier won't respond?

I placed an order for a specialist magazine on 3rd August via their own website. Paid by credit card. I got an acknowledgement email immediately with correct details, stating I would receive an email when the magazine was being posted.

Since then I have heard nothing. I have emailed twice and put a message on Twitter and Instagram. No reply to any message. I've bought from this website before and there was no problem.

It wasn't expensive, around £10, but I'm a bit annoyed they have taken my money, not sent the magazine and are not answering.

Any ideas on what I should do next?

Raise a complaint via the issuer of your credit card as you haven't received the goods purchased?

Could it be that they haven’t published a new issue since you placed the order? Or was it a back issue that you were ordering?

Posting publicly on a businesses Facebook page often speeds up a response, I find.

It does sound like you placed the order after that month’s edition had gone out, unless it’s more like you’ve ordered a comic book?

If it’s Forbidden Planet, we had a similar situation, but they did respond and send it pretty soon after.

I think I will have to go via the credit company, which sounds like it will be a bit of a pain.

It's the current issue that I ordered. I don't think it comes out very often. The webpage now says it's sold out.

I had a look at their Facebook page but there is hardly anything on it and they last posted something on it in 2019.

I think it's only sold on-line. It's not a comic book but an elite sport magazine.

Thanks for all your replies. I bought it as a gift so it's doubly annoying. If I don't hear by the end of tomorrow I will have to go through the cc company.
In the meantime I should have a look and see if I can find a phone number!

No phone number anywhere but I have found email addresses for Features and Advertising!
