Sorry to be a bit woe its me, but need to let it out.
My dc is mid 20's severely disabled and lives in what is classed as a care home.
Up until covid hit we were all so happy.
Or should I quote the stones and say "life was so beautiful, then we went into lockdown "
I get to see her once a week, no touching, so no hugs, no kneck breaking cuddles from her.
I sit 2 metres away, if she needs any help, i have to get a member of staff. I can't even give her a drink.
Her home has been covid free, mainly because of the brilliant staff and residents who have been so good at following the rules.
But im so fed up
I miss my cuddles, she is my dddd .
Don't know why i am posting this,
Maybe i hope someone else is going through this with a disabled adult child, and we can help each other.
