I need a massive favour!

I’m pretty sure I dropped my phone while getting in my husband’s car earlier today. We are now on holiday in Fort Augustus (minus my phone)

It’s a Huawei in a turquoise case and the attached shows where I dropped it

Any help appreciated 🙏

Was it near the top of Robertson Street near the Radisson Hotel/Argyle Street corner. I live on the southside but can take a run up if nobody closer.

Have you tried calling the station?

Bairnsmum05 · 15/08/2020 19:13

The nearest businesses to Robertson Street would be the Waterloo pub, the Co-
op or the Radisson.

I’ve trying phoning it from my husbands phone so assuming no one has picked it up?

If someone finds it I’m not sure where they would be likely to hand it in as it’s a 5 min walk from the station

I have contacted lost property at both the station and Radisson but nothing has been handed in

Yes @Bairnsmum05 it was near the Radisson, where all the building work is being done (pavement blocked off)

I arrived on train and had arranged for my DH to collect me but as the traffic was bad be parked up (on Robertson St) and dropped me a location pin. I used google maps to find him (so know I had my phone in my hand immediately prior to getting in the car).

If there is any way you could take a trip to look for it I would be hugely grateful?

@EhUp I had a wee look but unfortunately no luck.

goingtotown · 16/08/2020 16:04

It could still be in the car. Have you tried ringing your number?

EhUp · 16/08/2020 16:32

Thank you for looking @Bairnsmum05 that is very kind of you

We’ve stripped down the car @goingtotown looked under the boot lining, under all the seats, even under the spare tyre in the boot and trying ringing it multiple times

Really puzzling as I find it hard to believe that if I dropped it in the street I didn’t hear it fall but have searched the car, bags, pockets etc

I once was convinced I had lost my phone but found it was wedged invisibily between the passenger seat and the gear middle bit .. way down ..

I originally didn’t call it as I always had it on silent but then did try ringing it ..
So then I could hear it but for the life of me couldn’t find it for a good while ...
I was honestly bewildered as to where on Earth it was even though I could hear it ...
keep searching the car and good luck .
