Loss of appetite after a stroke

My ex husband had a stroke 5 weeks ago. It was fairly debilitating and he's in a wheelchair now he's home.

But he has no appetite! He's hardly eating anything. He's drinking milk, but small amounts of food. I think this could be because of the location of the stroke and it's affected taste.

Basically I'm just looking for advice on what he can eat that is potentially strong tasting maybe? And also I've read he could be drinking food supplements to keep his strength up.

Thanks!

Thanks He should be referred to a nutritionist who can prescribe drinks like Ensure whilst he gets his strength up. Maybe start with a discussion with the GP or Community Nursing team.

@Lightsabre Thank you so much, that's really helpful.
