Idiot proof blackberry and apple crumble recipe?

We have all of the blackberries (all of them!) growing in the garden at the moment, and dd (nearly 3) is obsessed with picking them. Which is all good and well, but I now have containers upon containers of them languishing in the fridge.

Really want to attempt a blackberry and apple crumble ( preferably with her help!) but I am to my shame, a terrible terrible cook. Stir fry and banana bread are about as far as my skills stretch...

Has anyone got any absolute idiot proof recipes? I've got a child free morning tomorrow so hoping to buy ingredients.

Thanks!

This one. Cooking the crumble separately is a game changer - www.google.com/amp/s/www.bbcgoodfood.com/recipes/apple-blackberry-crumble%3famp

I double the crumble quantities cos I love crumble

Apple( skinned and sliced, blackberries and a glue of granulated sugar in an ovenproof dish.
Crumble is based on the proportions of 6:4:4:3 on plain flour, butter, Demerara sugar. Once they have be been rubbed together to make them into breadcrumbs stir in the 3 of oats before spreading over the fruit to at least an inch. The size of the dish you use sets the amounts but the proportions stay the same.

Bake in a medium oven until crumbly and golden.
