After eating 100 grams of tempeh raw, I read it must be cooked. WHAT!

Shit. I feel ok. is this serious?

I know kidney beans have to be cooked or they're extremely toxic. I don't feel like I need to go and get my stomach pumped. But should I call 112.

If it was that bad, the instruction to cook it might have been bigger. I thought I read the label quite carefully too.

I was thinking it had a nice texture and I was cutting it in to slices and spreading different things on it.

Fear not, you can eat it raw!

Like most people reading the OP, I've just googled. It's fine.

@carlottaValdez You have lived to tell this tale!?

I think the instruction to cook it is is you are making your own tempeh from soya beans (as if) but if you buy it as tempeh, then it's not harmful.

I hope that's right.
