Any advice on moving to the Bournemouth and Poole area ?

Like tips of what’s a good area that’s not too far from the beach
I’ve seen one house on right move I’ll add a link

Would rather get a detached but only really want to spend about 350k

Try the traffic is a bit of an issue thanks for explaining conurbation to me something new I’ve learnt today I did like Weymouth just not as much Plus it further to drive to London etc

Weymouth is a very deprived area. House prices are a lot cheaper than Bournemouth and that is the reason why. Also it is an absolute nightmare in the summer commuting in and out. Schools are not brilliant in Weymouth either.

It sounds like your heart isn't really set on this move if I'm being honest. You need to cone down and stay for a couple of weeks. Explore the areas.

If you wanted to live a bit further out you could look at Swanage and further out areas, but again in the summer (or when the chain ferry is out of action which is a hell of a lot of time) it is nightmare getting into Poole.

Happy to give more advice as we live in the area, but you need to make sure this is completely right for you.

I would look at Southbourne, Bh6, something like this one www.rightmove.co.uk/property-for-sale/property-72395148.html. Easy walk to the beach and a quieter part of the beach too

Yes we are only in the exploring it and seeing what we can afford phase

Me and DJ have been taking. Today and dh said this time next year we will be in a financial position or buy a holiday flat
So I think we might to do that first, one debtokm will do if we can get sofa beds int he living room but two beds would be better
Ideally somewhere that would hopefully rise in price over day 10/15/20 years
