Please tell me about free childcare for 2 year olds

I've got a post card through the door today telling me that I've been identified as being eligible for the funded 15 hours of childcare for my 2 year old. He's 3 in November.

I was surprised but happy to get a confirmation online that I qualify, but I wouldn't usually qualify, it's only because I started a new job shortly after getting pregnant with my third so I'm only on maternity allowance right now.

Does anyone know if your funding immediately stops as soon as you start earning again? Or is there a sort of grace period? He will be getting his universal 15 hours of funding in Jan 2021 anyway so we weren't planning to send him to nursery until then, as it's only for his benefit (as in I don't need nursery childcare to work). I go back to work off of mat leave in October and wouldn't send him until September anyway? So if they immediately withdraw funding as soon as your wages go up it will be a waste of time to apply to any providers IYSWIM!

Please ignore this, it very clearly says they are still eligible even if there is a change in circumstances :)
