Where did you buy a second hand pram/pushchair from?

I need to buy a double pram. But after testing out a number in store, the most suitable is the bugaboo donkey twin. However it’s over £1k and I don’t imagine my eldest will be in the pram for more than 6 months and I don’t want to spend £1k on something for approx 6 months.

So if you purchased a second hand pram where from? Was it just eBay? Or is there a secret society of prams I know nothing of? Grin

Thanks!

Fb marketplace has loads of baby stuff on where I live.

Yes, we got ours on FB. It was a Bugaboo and we paid about £185, including adapters for a car seat to clip on to the frame.

PS There are places where you can get buggies and car seats serviced and professionally cleaned. Worth doing this as you can pay less for a slightly mucky buggy and then get it serviced so it looks brand new!

Facebook marketplace is amazing. If you use it for 6 months you'll probably be able to sell on the the same amount.

Ahh FB Marketplace!! I’m not on FB but I will get my mum to look! Thanks!! And what is this magical place you speak of AshGirl?

Just check it's from pet and smoke free home if you don't want pet hair or smell of smoke.

Leanne’s Prams on Facebook has Donkeys.

It’s the best double by far!!

KitKatastrophe · 09/08/2020 16:17

Facebook marketplace or mum 2 mum sales, although they wont be running currently

OneForTheRoadThen · 09/08/2020 16:19

There's lots of groups on Facebook specifically for selling secondhand Bugaboos. Just do a search and you'll see them all 😀

There is a site I've seen calls pramsy, awful name but the have refurbished prams.

Thanks all! Found and purchased one off FB for £300 today. Have also booked a professional cleaning service for next weekend.

Really pleased with it. A bit mucky but nothing that a good scrub by a professional won’t solve!

I sold my single and bought a double on FB marketplace

I got mine from Pramsy. Can highly recommend. Not keen on buying off fb or eBay - you never know where it’s been or how clean it is lol
