Hand embroiderers; I need your help to remember what this stuff's called!

Many moons ago, when I did my Fashion & Fabrics A Level, I used some sort of fabric stabiliser that I could draw my embroidery pattern onto, stitch over the top of, and then dissolve under running water.

I used it at the time for some bead/embroidery work, & saw it somewhere over the last day or two at some point but didn't pay attention - just vaguely thought it might come in handy at some point.

Obviously, now I want some for a project

Any idea what it might be called?

Glad you found what you were after - ditto, sadly I haven't had the need to use it either since student days eons ago I hope it works out well for you, I'm meant to be cross stitching not Mnetting 🙈
