Afternoon off, just me and DH. What would you do

And dont say "spend the whole time in bed together" its too bloody hot

We've been caught off guard so no plans and don't want the clock to tick by.

I should add - we have two dc under 10 so typically spend weekends doing stuff for them / walks / beach etc. They aren't home now til tomorrow lunchtime.

Go to a beer garden and have an almighty piss up!

Sit out somewhere with a cold drink and just chat and people watch

Get gently pissed in the garden while playing music from your long lost youth and talking uninterrupted.

Shower together.

Then sit in the shade with a cold drink and chat. Possibly followed by going out somewhere green and peaceful with some air movement, then come back and have another shower together.

This is us today! I’m going to the gym and for a swim and dh is going out with his brother

Surely there must be an illegal rave somewhere

I mean you could always start one in an old airport hangar?

Go somewhere outdoors and drink / sunbathe / read the books you can't normally get through because you're interrupted.

We drove to a small town a bit further out, walked along the river, ate an ice cream and had a look round the market that was on.

Home now to the cool and a Spritzer.
