Park with play area close to the M1 Northamtonish

Hi, anyone from Northamptonshire that can recommend a park, preferably with a play park that is not too far from the M1 (5 miles) I need to break a journey with small children!

You do know Northampton is in special measures as the Covid r rate is really high

You should probably stop at Milton Keynes instead

Don’t go to Leicester either

Salcey Forest is no more than 10 minutes from junction 15. I’ve checked on their website and the play areas are open.
And it seems like the play area at Daventry Country Park is open too.

Northampton is definitely not in any kind of lockdown measures just so you’re aware

Willen Lake is very close to M1 J14.

Northampton has a high Covid rate but is certainly not in “special measures”.
If you wanted avoid It though Willen Lake in Milton Keynes has a play park there is also a nice play park and river side walk in Newport Pagnell
