20th wedding anniversary gift ideas for a man

DH and I will be celebrating our 20th wedding anniversary in a few weeks. We've had a fairly horrendous few months (like lots of people I guess) and I am pretty short on brain power and inspiration. We had planned to go away for a weekend, but won't be able to do that now because of coronavirus (and other reasons).

If anyone has any ideas for something suitably special, that would be amazing 🙏

It would be much easier if you told us something about who he is and what he values.

Ah, fair enough. He loves family, travelling, exercise, beer and good food. He's not very materialistic. I'd considered a ring but he doesn't wear jewellery.

A nice meal out and something representing your relationship/family - map of the stars when you met, stylised picture of the family, family portrait or photo shoot?

Well, the general ones are porcelain and platinum for 20 years. If he is a real ale drinker you could think about a high-end porcelain stein and a selection of decent beer to use it with? You may even be able to get one handpainted and personalised. At least it may be something he uses (unless he is strictly a glass man - in which case a personalised crystal beer tankard might hit the post better). Does he have a decent drone? Those have gone down a storm with the men (and women!) in my family - all keen walkers so out in the open and they get superb photos and videos from them. Go-pro? We use ours loads

Thanks, these are some really nice ideas. I think part of the problem is finding something new after 20 years - I've already bought 20 anniversary gifts, 22 birthday presents and 22 Christmas presents!
