I received a text about the first grant, but none yet about the second. I wondered if others had?

No. I think applications are from 17 August so not long to go.

I was never sent anything regarding the first grant, DH received a letter.

I think it’s 14th Aug onwards that you can check your eligibility.

Be careful, there's a warning in the Govt website re phishing texts/emails etc.

It's open from Monday so you're better to go directly into the Govt website to apply.

I was texted for the first but have not had a specific text about the second. I have had generic emails about the HMRC video thingy, but that's proably because I signed up for the first one.

Looking at the website you just go and press all the same buttons again!

No but we never received anything for the first one either

I've had an email telling me I can apply from Monday (17th)

Oh I haven’t heard anything - I will try and reach them on Monday

DC has received letter to say they have overpaid the first one and to expect a reduced second half. (It's all going straight back to them to not totally cover a fine for late submission of accounts anyway!)

I received an email yesterday about second grant from HMRC .

I have just this second received mine!

I can apply from 21st, just sign in to hmrc using utr and they will let you know

No email (wasn't expecting one tbh) but I logged in yesterday and I can apply from tomorrow.

@Yoloyohol I read yesterday that they had overpaid a number of people.

My husband got his email this morning, he can apply from the 21st

I have just made my claim. All went without a hitch!

Claimed on Monday and the money hit my account today - impressive!

I got the email saying it would be in within 3 days, sounds like it really will arrive tomorrow

I've had the email saying it's being processed, like @CuriousaboutSamphire had.
